Range Management

Rangelands in the San Luis Valley include both private and public lands. Rangeland can be dry land or irrigated. Colorado State University Extension assist rangeland managers by providing training on monitoring techniques, managing drought on rangelands, renovation of disturbed or damaged rangelands, weed control, grass growth, plant identification, poisonous plant identification and other issues arising around rangelands.
